Sola is similar to balsa wood in feel, doesn’t splinter and can be broken apart with ease. Pets of all sizes, even the smallest birds, can manipulate sola their beaks & feet. This material also breaks apart effortlessly providing pets an enjoyable foraging experience. This wood is pleasant for birds to interact with as it has a consistent white interior and a thin outer skin of natural bark (if left on).

The 5112 Sola Popcorn Shredder is a bird foraging favorite. This toy features a natural length of jute twine on top that knots to (2) punched holes in a food grade popcorn bag. This bag has been generously filled with sola pops and is folded over on top. This can be hung up in the cage for a super messy bird shredding party, laid on the ground for pets to dig into or opened and poured out as needed. The 1558 Sola Hot Dog is a uniquely enticing sola bird toy. On top a quick link connector hangs a length of natural jute twine. This twine knots at the top of a food grade hot dog bag. The bag has been filled with assorted colored crinkle paper on the bottom and red colored crinkle paper on top. Sticking out of the top of the bag is a natural sola hot dog. This has been made with a sola skin log hot dog surrounded by yellow crinkle paper mustard and sandwiched by (2) skinless sola hot dog buns.
