Description

The 1597 Sola Bamboo Turning Chewer from M&M Bird Toys is a handcrafted, colorful, chewable, twisting, hanging bird cage toy.

At the top of this toy there is a quick link connector for fast hanging in the aviary. From here a sturdy metal wire wraps around and continues through the center of the toy ending with a small metal loop. A small metal bell dangles from this lower loop. The body of the bird toy is made from an assortment of chewable pieces. On top there is a natural wood bead that sits on the first of many colorful chewable slats. In between the colorful chew slats there are assorted beak and feet pleasing pieces. On top and bottom there are colorful bamboo finger traps. Next are a skinless sola wood log. In the middle an interesting bamboo flute sits.

All the body parts on this toy can turn around their axis as the metal wire passes through their center. The parts are all completely chewable with different materials offering different feels for pets. The bamboo finger traps are the softest of the toy materials, easily shredding from both beaks and feet. The sola wood logs are also very easy for pets to dig into. The colorful chew slats are the next easiest thing to shred offering a satisfying breaking feel. The bamboo flute and natural wood beads offer the most substantial chewing materials and provide lots of entertainment for birds.

The Girls went after the Sola 1st of course 😊 I can reuse the Bamboo as a base for some new toys too.

Nice spinner for our cockatiels!

The cockatiels really like chewing on the blades, and the spinning lets them last a little longer. the different materials also seems to pique their interest.
